In Hong Kong, PTD is one of the major solutions and service providers of CLP Power, which is the major electricity supplier in Hong Kong serving a population of some 5.5 million in the areas of Kowloon, New Territories and outlying islands, as well as other industry customers by providing solutions to transport and distribute electricity reliably and economically from power plants to their customer sites.

Starting from 2002, PTD has been supplying CLP Power with the distribution turnkey solution – the biggest contract of similar nature received by Siemens worldwide. The turnkey solution for CLP Power includes all the way from product sourcing, procurement, keeping stock, local delivery, installation, to testing procedures and maintenance services. The whole process from equipment delivery to site hand over takes a maximum of 12 days. This is our unique service pledge to the customer.
