Celebration Dinner of Lunar New Year with Seniors

Lunar New Year is one of the most important festivals for the Chinese people since all of the family members, from the most senior ones down to new born babies, will try to take this chance to meet up and get together for dinners and gatherings. To those elderly people without any family members or relatives, such a festival may bring some hard feelings. In order to let these seniors feel the warmth of Lunar New Year, on 18 January 2004, Siemens organized a Lunar New Year Dinner to celebration new year with 100 elderly members from St. James’ Settlement. In that evening, there were games and photo-taking with God of Fortune. It turned out to be the warmest party in that season despite the cold weather in the month of January.
