Lunar Year End Dinner with Seniors

To celebrate Lunar New Year and bring some joyous moments to the seniors at one of the most important festivals for Chinese people, we organized a Lunar Year End Dinner and had a joyful evening with 85 seniors on 29 January 2005. This time we went beyond the Wanchai district and served the seniors living in Tsuen Wan area.

The dinner was held at Tsuen Wan Fung Shing Restaurant in Nam Fung Centre near Tsuen Wan MTR station. The dinner was kicked off by a group singing performance. We then had 4 guests to perform a number of Chinese Operas. A few games were also arranged for seniors from different tables to participate.

The climax of the dinner was the visit by 2 Gods of Fortune imitated by our colleagues. They had photos taken with all the seniors and brought every one of them a gold ingot (with chocolate inside) simultaneously. At the end of the dinner, every senior was given a gift pack through which we hope that they could also bring home the joyous memories in that evening.
