New Structure Since October 1, 2006

	On October 1, 2006, the business of the Siemens Communications Group will be given a new structure: The Carrier business (mobile networks, fixed networks, carrier services) will be continued in the company Siemens Networks GmbH & Co. KG. The Enterprise business will be continued in the company Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co. KG. The Wireless Modules business will be continued in the Siemens Group Automation and Drives.

The new company Nokia Siemens Networks is expected to start operations by January 1, 2007, subject to customary regulatory approvals, the completion of standard closing conditions, and the agreement of a number of detailed implementation steps.
